Not recommended

The room is very dated and not well equipped like you would expect in even a cheap hotel. I couldn't find electrical outlets to charge phones in the room and had to use the outlets in restroom or closet. Breakfast was fine but the lady who prepared the breakfast was very rude. I think she also manages the property. I didn't know the downstairs restroom in the hallway was reserved for downstairs room only. It has no sign on the door so I used it quickly. As soon as I got out, the lady waited for me at the door and started to yell at me in front of other guests and my family for using the restroom. She was very rude. I was on vacation so I let it go and didn't get myself bothered by her rudeness. I even left tips for her breakfast service the next day but I definitely do not recommend this place at all.

If you do n't care to stay 15-20 minutes away from city of Los Angeles, please do stay in a good hotel little away from here. This is not a true hotel-- this is a personal house converted to Hotel--I have seen this kind in Rome, Italy. No receptionist at the front. Extremely foul smell in the lobby and the rooms. I believe, there must be an animal like "Ferret" inside hotel-that can produce this kind of smell. BTW, the owner lives here too. Total 6 rooms-big rooms, but dirty. I had to spray air freshener several times due to foul smell, otherwise could not sleep. Free parking space, but very difficult to get your car out of that place, as very congested 6 spaces to park! Very limited breakfast, but I liked the omelette the kitchen lady made (the only think I liked in this hotel). I am not a person to give bad review. I can tell, we are not returning to this so called hotel, even if offered to stay free.

Great location.

Cinema Suites is an affordable option in a very convenient location. It’s a funky place with some charm, but it could use a little sprucing up.

Filthy, decrepit

We were in what they euphemistically call the guest house. Actually, it's a converted garage with filthy, stained, frayed carpeting over a very uneven floor, resulting in hazardous humps. No remote was provided to operate the heater/AC unit. It was very cold for undressing and sleeping when we arrived from the airport about midnight. We discovered that what looked like a radio was actually a table top heater which was inadequate for the space. Walls had been partially painted, woodwork had not and it was dirty. Cabinet doors were stained and in sad shape. Unknown purpose wires were hanging from the ceiling in 1 corner. The heating/AC unit's wires passed through a wall with insulation hanging out. Bed had a thick foam topper that was several inches below the head of the bed so that your pillow fell over the edge. I doubt very much that the place is in conformance with city codes.

Unique location close to all. Nice manager lady , clean attractive bathroom. I did not know the bathroom would be out side my bedroom and brought no pajamas - this did cause some issues. Comfortable bed. It was like staying at a relatives house and was pleasant. Great price.

Dålig doft och litet rum

Rummet vi fick var mycket mindre än vi föreställt oss och doften i huset var riktigt obehaglig. Rummet låg precis bredvid köket så vi väcktes tidigt varje morgon av servicepersonal, vilket inte var positivt. Dessutom fick jag flera bett på kroppen så jag misstänker faktiskt vägglöss. Jag skulle därför avråda folk från att boka detta BnB.

I liked everything, it was a really comfortable, safe and calm place. The employee (Margarita) there’s is really respectful and super nice. Margarita has been the nicest employee I’ve ever met. My family member and I woke up with either bed bug or flea bites all over our body. I did inform the owner of this incident. This has never happened to me before. Ive stayed all around the world but this was bad. Very nice owner and great parking but this definitely ruined our stay. Hope to see a doctor see or get some relief.

Different kind of experience than your normal hotel. This this is a B&B, it is kind of a family style place in that you are in the house with other people that you eat breakfast with. It was good. The cook for breakfast was good and friendly. House owner was accessible by phone and I believe in the house if you needed her but she did give you privacy. Neat style of house. Room we were in was comfy but could use some touch ups. Has TV and chairs to relax. House is on a main road so you can hear traffic noise.

I woke up at 5 40 a.m. , due to the extreme traffic noices and could not get back to sleep. It was almost I had the traffic crossing the room. Location was good to get around, staff very nice, breakfast ok. However, for 140 Euros and the traffic noice, I feel like overprized

The web site implied that we would be staying in a nice looking older spanish style rooming house with nice rooms. We were placed instead in the "guest cottage" which was a converted garage complete with overhead door tracks protruding through the walls. Upon entering the room for the first time the musty smell almost knocked me over. The carpet was matted and stained in many places and probably contributed alot to the musty odor. The bed was large but due to the oddly shaped room was actually turned sideways making it wider than it was long and was pulled away from the headboard so the pillow could fall between the wall and the bed. The food and the cook were fine. Wish we had gotten the room that we thought we were getting.
