We stayed in a studio and wished we could’ve stayed longer. It was absolutely wonderful. Sure the place is a bit older but check in was easy and stay was great. The room was very clean and the pillows and beds were so comfy! Will most definitely be staying here again!

Loved this place! Owners were extremely helpful and friendly with everything. Yes, they're doing some renovations but still the best location and great place to stay. Already recommended to some friends coming out in a few weeks.

The Vurpillatt is one of those rare places that looks great online and is even better when you're there. My girls and I only had the luxury of spending one night in Hermosa Beach, but we picked well. We enjoyed the walks around Hermosa, and waking up to the sound of the waves right outside our windows. As a mom with two daughters and a service dog in tow, I appreciated how effortless the whole stay felt. Definitely my new favorite place to visit.

Amazing location for a beachfront vacation with everything you need within a 5-10 minute walk. Property is a historic building with lots of character so the rooms are rustic and basic. Staff are friendly and helpful when they are around, often a phone call away.

Management was very responsive to texts/calls, and they have a lot of amenities for you to use when you want to use the beach right across from them. Parking is also easy with the pass they give you, just pay attention to when street cleaning occurs. I would go back again.

No air conditioning so a bit hot. Currently doing repairs on windows, etc. The staff were super helpful. The location can't be beat. The historic building is cool looking inside with lots of great details.

This place was incredibly relaxing , had a great stay with my daughter she enjoyed it being so close to the beach we played All morning with the beach toys the lend you it was so nice staff was also very friendly and I was able to find parking nearby .

The owner of this amazing space right on the beach with spectacular views is the best host we have experienced in the industry. The well furnished in period rooms have so many small details to keep you smiling. The rooms are spacious, beautiful, and comfortable. You will also get great recommendations for all of your needs in this area. Truly a place to stay and a beach to visit.

The property was super unique and vintage. Unfortunately they were in the middle of remodeling some of the rooms so there was a lot of furniture in the halls. There were almost no outlets in the room we were in, and you could tell they are working on electrical stuff. Overall super charming and an absolutely beautiful location. Definitely a unique stay.

Great view of the ocean from our room. Room came with kitchen and large tv. The room was recently remodeled. No AC however it was cool with the ocean breeze. They were accommodating of our pet. Very close to pier, lots of restaurants and coffee shops.

The building is infront of the beach but there’s no working AC or cold fridge. The beds are super comfortable, staff was friendly and had great recommendations. Very laid back.

Amazing historical hotel right on the beach in Hermosa. Nothing else out there like this 100-year-old hotel. Wake up to the sun shining off the beach. Go to sleep listening to the surf. Beautiful room with ocean breezes blowing through. Spacious. Tasteful. Lovely.
