"Barraco Lodge is amazing! The views of lake/river/mountains are majestic - during my 5-day stay, I never tired of looking at the changing landscape. The food was excellent. The staff were super friendly, attentive, and interesting. It's hard to describe how unique and gorgeous this place is. I am so grateful to have had the privilege of staying here. Don't miss it!"

"This is such a great, cosy place with wonderful, friendly staff. We ended up here at the last minute due to other lodging falling through, and they were super accomodating, getting us checked in early. The rooms are a good size with charming wood-trunk & plank furniture, and the bathrooms are super modern and up to date. The rooms have lovely views of the water (we started in one and shifted to the bigger room on our 2nd night). The breakfast was robust and they serve dinner if you don't...

"Definitely not worth the price. Disgracefully expensive for what it is. Staff (a couple), with the lady not knowing how to receive us and generally had no idea what she was doing, plates had prices stuck to bottom (hope they’d been washed after purchase although seems not). Breakfast comes in a cooler piled with stuff and nowhere to place it in room. No instructions on how to use heating or techy shower. No hot water for one day. "Wonderful unique spot. Great staff. They will do all they can to help you enjoy the lodge to the fullest. Take an early morning dip in the crystal clear lake......or not. Take part in the Yoga sessions. Take the kayaks out for a spin. Enjoy the hot tub with a marvelous view."
