Although it’s slightly dated, the rooms are super clean and Amir on the front desk is super helpful and accomadating and was helpful with late check in. The price is fair and I would definitely stay again.

Really lovely stay and a great surprise. The room was much bigger than we expected and we were really pleased to find that the kids effectively had their own little room within our room, with really good-sized bunk beds. It made such a difference travelling as a family and everyone had plenty of space. The staff were absolutely outstanding, genuinely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and really added to our stay. The room was comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was excellent and, oddly important after a long day, the TV was simple to use without having to fight with it! One useful update is that the hotel does now have an alcohol licence, despite some of the information we received beforehand suggesting otherwise, so drinks are available from the bar added bonus. We were only there for one night but were genuinely impressed. It was excellent value for a family room and we would very happily stay again.

We took a family room. The size of the room was adequate. Room was clean. A fridge , fan , iron was also available. Plenty of parking space. Lot of restaurants in easy walking distance. A nice quiet town center with a river flowing by. The location is also a very good base for Cornwall. Everything within an hour or so.

Breakfast was superb! The pool is such a fantastic addition and we made sure we enjoyed it as often as possible! The rooms are always meticulously clean and the property is well maintained. Having reintroduced the full english breakfast in a traditional sense the property has regained our commitment to booking a bed with breakfast rate. The staff are always very friendly and the hotel is perfectly located not only to see what Lostwithiel has to hold but for accessing other towns and villages in Cornwall.
