This Hotel needs upgrades. Also, it has a musty odor, and breakfast is mediocre. Not super fond of downtown Louisville. I was surprised at the amount or homeless / street people everywhere! Very sad to see.

No nos limpiaron la habitación ni cambiaron las toallas ningún día, y eso que lo solicitamos directamente en el mostrador. El "desayuno incluído" era solo pan dulce y un galón de jugo o leche y cafe.

This was absolutely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. Old, run down and down right scary. We thought we had picked an historic place but our Uber driver told us it was a homeless shelter and it sure felt like it. The only good thing were the friendly people on staff. Avoid this place and the mice!

We got to the hotel and was informed that Expedia overbooked them. Thankfully they had a room for us tho. The check in was quick and seamless. The staff was very friendly. The hotel itself is a bit outdated and they have old carpets not tacked down. The entire hotel smells like cigarettes and the rooms were a bit dirty. However, coming and going was very easy, the location was easy to get to, and the staff was helpful.

Definitely an older hotel, but it has a nice vibe to it. The lobby carpeting needs replacing, but they're currently upgrading according to signage in the lobby. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable. For breakfast there was a choice of pastries and they served eggs, bacon and toast if you wanted a full meal. I thought it was good. I liked that parking was available at no extra charge and the room rate was less than half the cost of the other hotels I looked at. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

Don't ever try to check in a little early. Staff seemed to highly frown on that. And if you go out before you check in and come in later, staff is hard to find for check in. Smells like there is some water problem somewhere.

This hotel is not a hotel. It’s literally a halfway house (I wish I was exaggerating). The room was dirty with mold and cigarette burns all over. Someone’s Mail was in the room, including their social security number. When we arrived to the room, the door was open and two employees were standing in the room eating and watching TV. The key didn’t work and the guy they sent to reprogram the door was wearing a house arrest ankle monitor. Will never stay again. Strongly encourage others to find another hotel.

Staff was very courteous. Room was clean and bed was comfortable with many pillows. Hotel was dated but really the vintage look was cool. Under 100$ for downtown room with city views was unbeatable. If you want 4 star go stay at the brown or seelbach and pay 350. I seen many reviews from people expecting the world and wanting to pay 3rd world. Met and exceeded expectations.

The hotel is very outdated and grounds are unkept. The room was clean and large however had visible light damage to walls, tile and fixtures. They were understaffed and it took over 20 minutes to check in. The staff at breakfast were not very welcoming and seemed bothered to have guests. It was fine for a last minute visit for a friend’s baseball tournament but I would not purposely book again.
