"We had a 5 night stay at the Ballymascanlon and we had a great stay. Our room 230 was spacious and quiet, the facilities in the room were good and maybe a fridge would be the icing on the cake. In the hot weather we were provided with a fan. Plenty of tea and coffee facilities available, with 2 bottles of water left daily. A widescreen TV in the room with plenty of channels. "This is a great place to stay with a pub close by owned by the same family. The lodges are beautifully designed and well furnished. The main bedroom is very spacious with a generously sized bed; the bed settee was also used during our stay and made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The host was very welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed visiting the pub whilst we were there. It’s an easy drive to either Newry (where we were visiting family) or Carlingford and the Greenway.
