"The place was nice and clean. The property was well kept and everything seemed new and clean. The only questionable thing was the elevator. It made some weird noises and bumps going up. Also, breakfast could have had a little more variety."

"The location is wonderful, just steps away from the Black Friar's Theater, Mary Baldwin University, and several good restaurants and shops. Just as wonderful is the staff - everyone was welcoming and helpful. We also enjoyed breakfast at the hotel's Magnolia South Restaurant. Service couldn't have been better.

"Dog feces, indoors, in the front entryway. Hole in bathroom wall from door handle, spackle missing entirely or mold on the ceilings.
It is absolutely not safe to stay here, door was messed with and jimmied during the night, but had the door barricaded, left before dawn and didn’t stay the second night.
Ideal place to stay if you plan on cooking meth or have a deathwish."
