"Me and my family stayed here twice over the past three weeks and we really enjoyed our stays. In the height of summer the air-con was such a blessing, as the other hotels we have stayed in did not have ac, which made sleep incredibly difficult. The staff (in general) were pleasant and accommodating. We stayed in a stadium facing room, which the kids loved but the rooms are a bit tired and could do with a refurb. One of our bathrooms had water damage on the ceiling, which was concerning and issues with the toilet but the property manager was great and fixed the water issue for us promptly. The staff covering the bar in the evenings were super friendly and made us feel really welcome. The rooms are also pretty sound-proofed. Things to improve: Free or discounted parking would be appreciated, especially for longer stays and a mini fridge and a safe in the room would be great."
"We stayed one night in no. 24 Courtyard double, with breakfast following day. The accommodation was delightful, spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and we also had a lovely evening meal in the main building. Excellent value for money too."
"The staff was excellent could not do enough we been there 3 years on the trot and was recognised bye staff was a loverly stay and devo comming back thank you as it was my birthday week and devo enjoyed"
"I stayed in Room 10 with my daughter - we were going to Latitude Festival on Saturday and stayed Fri and Sat night.
Self check in easy - you get a text on the day with your keycode.
Nice comfortable room and lovely sea breeze coming in through the window. Parking simple and free on the road plus loading spaces for you to drop off your luggage if you can't get parked right outside.
Will come again for festival next year.
Town itself a little run down, lots of places preferring cash only. Ate at a Nice Wetherspoons just a 6 min drive away.
Thank you for a lovely stay 😊"
"Lovely staff and food.
Carpet in the main areas looks like it could do with being replaced. Walls were a little thin in our room, we could hear our neighbours coughing and talking."
