My room was super old. I didn’t know I wouldn’t have access to a shower. The shower spout was just welded over in the bathroom but the shower head was still there. There was rust on the side of the tub as well

I have stayed at the hotel in the past and didn't experience any problems but was very surprised when we entered the room. The floor boards in a third of the room were loss and very noisy when you walked over them. The separation wall looked like someone spilled a coke down it and it wasn't cleaned. The staff was very sympathetic about our concerns but said they were booked and couldn't move us. I was also told the management was planning to renovate but have to wait. The bed was the best part of the room. I won't stay there again until it is updated and cleaned better. Was told most of the lower floor rooms had bad flooring condition.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. We were able to check in a little early, which was also very nice.
The room was definitely "tired", meaning it is just old. However it was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the neighbors were quiet.
Breakfast was plentiful, varied, and yummy.
We got our money's worth out of the room rate.

Good stay, Ridiculous Housekeeping
I want to start by saying I’ve never had any problems with past stays at this hotel.
Arrival: Front desk lady was nice & helpful. 1st rm smelled like cigarette even though it’s no smoking hotel. Son has asthma so asked to be moved, she quickly moved us to another room. 2nd rm had not been swept, found cookie & shreds of paper & leaves on rm floor. Stayed w/o complaints due to being tired & lady at front desk had hands full w/ other guests.
Manager came by next morning w/ housekeeping & apologized for rm being in conditions it was in. She swept the room for us & was kind.
Day of checkout: Housekeeping knocks on door around 10:30AM to ask us when we were going to check out. Around 11AM somebody starts banging on door stating they are housekeeping again but I was in the bathroom unable to answer, so I just stated yes, we’d be out soon hoping they heard me. A few minutes later a young man comes by knocking & again asks when we’re checking out. I answer him & ask him if check out is not at 12PM like I was told. He states yes, that he apologizes & that he was just checking again when we’re leaving. About 11:20AM the front desk is calling to tell me that check out is before 12PM & our room was on her list of people who had not checked out yet. 11:47AM we walk out to be met by 2 housekeepers looking us up & down upset. Walk to front & hear 1 laugh only to see the other following closely behind me all the way to front desk. Front desk apologized & offered water & snack bag. 😒

Loved the people :)
The hotel is nice. If a little older. The employees working were kind, knowledgeable and genuinely cared. They even informed us they have a "medical" when they found out we were there visiting our dad who is in CCU. Wonderful caring people.

It's a nice hotel and the staff was great. The only thing I didn't like is how they placed me in a room that someone had smoked in previously. They couldn't change me to a different room and had it booked for 5 nights. I did also see a lot of bug and roaches coming in through the AC unit. If you get room 125 please request a room change.

There was a communication problem between Cheaptickets and Quality Suites. I waited for over an hour and my reservation never appeared in the Quality Suites system. The Quality Clerk clerk was unable to get anyone in her home office to confirm my reservation. About a half an hour later when I called Cheaptickets and tried to cancel my reservation, the mechanical voice said that since I was cancelling on the day of my reservation, "she" could not cancel it. Since it was now getting late. I used Cheaptickets again to get a reservation at another hotel. It worked this time, so I suspect that Quality Suites is at fault. I expect Cheaptickets to give me a full refund of $70.96 to be credited to my credit card. You have my cell phone number if a human being wants to talk about this.

Hairs in the bath tub

Took 40 minutes to check in and there was no line to speak of

Front desk took time to check me in, I was there waiting for a bit until he asked me, can I help you. Once he gave me the keys and went to my room, I had to called them to let them know that the bathroom door was broken. It looked like someone used it as a pouncing bag. I told him that I am letting them aware because I don’t want my credit card to be charge for something we didn’t do. The floors were not clean, it felt like it had not been swept. We paid a high price for a crappy room, With how much they charge they should consider in some updates. The food was good.

Bad Experience
I was disappointed in the room which might have been a reflection on the entire facility. The fake wooden floors in my room felt like they were pealing up as when you walked on them they would go down and then you could hear them pull away from the floor making a Velcro type of sound. My drapes were shredding along the seams an looked bad. A chunk of sheetrock was missing and I had flies in my room. A big bar of used soap, not hotel soap, was left in the shower soap holder.
I stay at Choice Hotels a lot but was surprised at the poor maintenance of this facility on this trip. I feel like Choice owes me two free night stay at any location to make up for this bad experience.
