"We had a lovely time staying at the Ritz Sarasota. Everything was good. I wouldn’t say excellent, but very good. We have stayed at many Ritz Carlton hotels and felt the Sarasota Ritz was not up to the same level of service as the other hotels we have stayed at before. Overall, the hotel was clean and the beach club was great!"

"A charming little property near downtown Sarasota. It's central to all of the attractions, shops and beaches. The owners are very attentive to your needs. They are helpful with ideas for entertainment and nearby dining."

"This place has gone downhill. I’ve stayed here many times over 30 years. There are no more water views due to nearby construction. The staff were like annoying zombies. One person actually tried to intimidate me. No hot water . Practically empty. It’s a decent budget hotel. Don’t pay more than 70 bucks. I will never stay here again."

"The proprietor was nice enough to let me check in early with a modest fee because my husband who was waiting in the car had just had surgery. Although very clean the room was musty and the TV very small. Breakfast was disappointing but Publix was just across the street. Overall good experience."

"Staff was very nice. When we stayed the street outside was under construction, Not the Hotel's fault or anything they could do about that. The pool was very nice. we liked the the Hawaiian Feel. The facility is a little dated, but overall nice place. I would definitely stay again. Thank You Guys."

"A great place to enjoy your vacation on a beautiful seashore with mild wind and a great sunset view. The staffs are very polite,efficient, and professional. In-room amenties are so great - you will have washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided, full function kitchen as well. Can't expect more. The only thing that the management should take care of is the elevator (I was in Building 4), as I met 3 down time of that elevator during my 3 nights stay. I am OK with that, but if senior...

"We spent two nights at the hotel for a family event. The hotel was chosen partly for its location, off a main exit to the city of Sarasota, and its proximity to many restaurants and tourist attractions. Most restaurants are within a 15 minute drive and some museums and other attractions are very close. The room was clean, plenty of towels and space for bathroom items, comfortable and clean beds. Clerks at the reception desk were friendly and helpful."

"Room 109. Tiny room, reminds me of a cruise cabin with a bigger bathroom. Good for a weekend stay, but I couldn’t spend more than that in such a small space. Place was clean and it looks like it recently underwent an upgrade. Check in was easy and staff was professional. There’s nowhere in the bathroom to put your stuff, like toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving gel etc. as it’s just a pedestal type wash sick, so no counter space.
