THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE. I HAVE GENUINELY HAD BETTER FOOD IN UK PRISON. Staff and service is also very poor. Actual hotel is amazing as are facilities. But for the price point (£400+ a night the food and service is not acceptable

The water park with complimentary access was pure fun for our daughters. The hotel is in good condition and the staff is kind. The outside of the main restaurant should be more closely attended by the waitstaff. It was often difficult to find a clean table, and placing an order was nearly impossible.

Brilliant location for the Meryal water park. Staff were very friendly and super professional. Would like to mention Kristian, Mervet and Titis on the front desk and concierge areas who were outstanding and went above and beyond to make our stay hassle free and really enjoyable. Many thanks to them. Those people are what make a good hotel great and differentiates the hotel from other options. Nice place to stay and will definitely return.

Was very good in general. The price was too much. Breakfast was excellent. Taking a deposit wasn’t so nice. most of the workers were friendly and helpful. Location was so far from Doha downtown, and was no services around, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants.

Food options are very limited not like other Rixos hotels at all. All inclusive is not available at the water park unless you walk to the beach bar which is a 10 minute walk which is very difficult in 45 degrees heat. No food options available at the beach bar. Only options available are water, fruit juice or ice cream (not even fizzy drinks, teas or coffees!!) Water in showers takes 5 minutes to warm up and then finally when it does becomes burning hot! Staffing levels very poor - takes approx 30 minutes to get drinks to table at breakfast, lunch or dinner! No buggy drivers available. Constantly ran out of food such as English breakfast tea at breakfast!! Definitely would not recommend

Rixos Qetaifan will surely become a nice destination in the future as the hotel is having a unique water park attached to it, and great beach front. But right now the complex is standing in a middle of a construction site and its dust. Some of the hotel facilities are not ready. The most annoying part is the smell in the rooms which can happen for new hotels in the region (the hotel opened Q4 2023). There was water pressure issue in the room's shower. Also, you can see some of the staff still needs some training (valet notably). However, the French brasserie staff were super nice, as well as the team at the spa.

This hotel is great for the waterpark but definitely not worth the money charged for rooms here. The staff and hptel get very easily overwhelmed when the hotel is at capacity...but we could also tell the general attitude at the hotel is not centred around its guests. For example - SO many unclean tables left at breakfast - when they have so many guests looking for a clean table to sit at, when you ask - we literally got a shrug of the shoulders "we must be full Maam". Another example, my son's toe is bleeding and i ask for a plaster at reception, i got told to go to another desk...i went there and they looked so puzzled and asked why i had come there. More concerned about the process than the fact my sons toe at this point was bleeding out onto the floor. A lot of demotivated - fed up staff at breakfast who dont want to make eye contact or be stopped for help. The service of the hotel let down what is a beautifully decorated hotel with a world class waterpark. It definitely does not deliver a 5 star experience so I wouldnt visit again or pay the high price for rooms.

We had a great stay at the Rixos! The suite we had was huge, with the most amazing balcony, with a great view of the city. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Plenty of choice for food to suit all, with all premium drinks available. The water park was incredible and both my sons loved it! All the staff were friendly and very helpful when needed. Would highly recommend this hotel.
