The Lodge on Loch Lomond is a wedding favourite but also a nice spot in hot days for water sports. This is looking south towards Dumbarton.
The ancestral home of Clan Colquhoun, Luss is a picturesque village on the banks of Loch Lomond. Originally called Clachan dubh, or 'dark village, Luss is now a conservation village. Luss pier is a good starting point for boat trips on the Loch, on a clear day of course. Source: Wikipedia.

My original room had not been cleaned properly prior to my arrival. I was greeted by an un-flushed WC. Also, there was what appeared to be blood stains on the spare pillow. I reported this to the reception, and was immediately given another room. The staff acted promptly and without fuss.

Lovely apartment, cute goats and chickens a short walk on site. Only downside for us was the kitchen was still a little dirty from previous guests, but a quick clean up did the trick

I was a bit unimpressed with Loch Lomond, i was expecting some nice lakeside walks and calm tranquil waters. Instead i got a tourist packed beach of sunbathers. Tip - avoid the school holidays if you can when planning a trip! #Waterlust #WeekendGetaway
