"The area around the hotel was very noisy from an early time each morning. I became sick and needed a taxi to a doctor at the train station. The staff was unhelpful, assuring me no taxi would take me such a short distance. I could not stand up. I asked about an Uber and they suggested I try that. Unfortunately, the hotel WiFi was down. They did not care. I hobbled outside to city WiFi and caught an Uber. When I returned, my key card did not work. I asked for a new one at the front desk and was asked for my ID. Isn't in a lobby chair to find it and couldn't get up. Some time later the desk clerk took mercy and brought me a working key. I could not call the front staff caring or helpful."

"The concierge staff and housekeeping staff were exceptional. However, when we attempted to eat at the Juliett restaurant, we sat at our table for 20 or 25 minutes without even being offered a glass of water. As a result, we looked for meals outside of the hotel, which we would not have done otherwise."

"We had an excellent view over the lake and to Mount Pilatus. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was small but had all we needed. We could walk to town easily."

"This is a charming setting if not in the center of the old town. You cannot beat the views. The staff at the front desk were helpful. One even printed out our train tickets and delivered them to us in the bar."
