"The hotel needs air conditioning in all bedrooms as the rooms were too hot.
There were no fridges in the bedrooms to keep water cold etc which was disappointing as we had to ask for glasses of ice to do this.
Staff were exceptional and the spa and swimming pool were really good.
A great location on the edge of Dartmoor with access to some great walks."

"Staff was very friendly. Property was clean but, but
Exrea bed was not ready when we arrived no blankets, no pillows etc so we had to chase staff twice for this( eeven i specifically wrote emails and verbally reminded the receptionists befor we entered the apartment. I found this anoying)
Also very very poor breakfast for a 4 star hotel. I felt i had to beg for food because not everything was displayed for example We had to order for example croissant thta was not displayed

"This is a gr8 place to relax or play a round of golf. The staff are very helpful. The hotel rooms are lovely. They are not huge but have enough room to feel comfortable. There are 2 golf courses here. The Kernow course is a good test of your golf whatever handicap you have. The Nickolas course is the signature course and this will definitely test your golf and patience. There is a gym here but I did not use it. "Eine ganz hervorragende Unterkunft. Das beginnt beim Empfang, es wird einem alles abgenommen, das Gepäck etwa oder das Parken. Das Personal ist zurückhaltend, aber immer präsent und ansprechbar. Für alle Wünsche werden Lösungen gefunden. Das Haus an sich ist wunderschön, mit einer Terrasse, die einen großartigen Blick in Garten und Tal ermöglicht. Der Nachmittagstee, Abendessen und Frühstück waren ganz hervorragend. Auch die Zimmer kann man positiv hervorheben. Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung!"
