Stylish but short on substance.
At first glance, the room looked as impressive as advertised. The bathroom is huge and beautifully designed, and the bed is a rare, super size one piece mattress for Europe. But once the initial excitement faded, the flaws became obvious.
The ergonomic mattress came with bargain bin pillows, only four small ones for two people. The toilet door does not open fully unless you force it. The spa tub and fireplace work well, but the kitchen, while attractive, is unusable without pots or pans. The fridge is great, but that is about it.
The contactless concept is fine, but there is truly no way to reach anyone. Their app chat shows as online, but never replies. Emails go unanswered unless they involve getting paid. No WhatsApp, no Facebook, no Instagram response.
We randomly met an employee who was wonderful, she fixed the Nespresso and brought pillows. Housekeeping, however, ignored our note about missing cookware. They also left used towels on the floor for eight hours despite the eco sign instructions, and did not empty the bathroom garbage.
The Bluetooth speaker works well, and the TV has decent channels, though it is mounted too high to watch comfortably with the poor pillows. Climate control will not cool below 18 degrees, which will not suit everyone.
The location is perfect, quiet courtyard, central, and surrounded by excellent restaurants. But noise from the upstairs neighbour, heavy steps, washer and dryer, may bother light sleepers.
