"We only needed a one night stay and picked this motel based on review here - it turned out to be an excellent choice. The room was super clean, beds were comfortable and the bathroom seemed to be recently renovated. Front desk staff was very nice too. Overall a nice place and would stay here again. There is an excellent local coffee roasters place around the corner, if you need a coffee fix in the morning. "

"We do lots of road trips and stop driving when we get tired - the rooms along 90 are meh. The rooms at the Del Lago are lovely / well appointed, comfy bed, - feels luxurious - a great rate whether the you gamble or not."

"I called 0n THREE occasions to make sure we would have a FRIST FLOOR ROOM!!!! First when I reserved the room IN JANUARY FOR APRIL 25 , then again in March. THEN THE DAY BEFORE !!!!!! At pre check in on line , I requested a first floor room !!! EVERY TIME I WAS ASSURED A FIRST FLOOR ROOM ! So we checked in and they didn't have us in a first floor room. They couldn't accommodate our request at the front desk!!! The coffee maker in our room didn't work !!! No coffee in the check in area !"

"The hotel was ok and convenient. The lady at check-in was polite. I checked in at 8:30 pm and walked across to a lovely restaurant (that was basically in the parking lot of the hotel). When I got back it was late. I showered and got ready for bed. When I pulled the covers back, I noticed a stain on the side of the mattress. After looking closer, it was a huge stain. And when I pulled back the mattress cover, there were more stains. Looked like blood or vomit. The sheets were clean. So I just slept on the opposite side of the bed. If it was 11 pm, I would have asked to be switched into another room. I took pics and videos and showed the front desk in the morning. The manager came and looked at them. They apologized and said thank you for bringing this to our attention. They should have given a discount or at least offered one. But nope. So you all need to be aware. I was in room 205. I bet the mattress is still disgusting."
