"Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

"We stayed in numerous B&Bs during our 3+ weeks in Ireland and Sharamore house was definitely a favorite. It was great base for us to explore the Connemara area. The room was spacious, and the breakfasts were excellent. We really enjoyed our stay of 3 nights with Sue and John. They are very hospitable hosts who know the area extremely well. Their central location on the peninsula was just right for us, one day exploring northwards to Kylemore Abbey, the Killary Fjord and a hike in Connemara NP....
