Pleasant, comfortable room. Convenient for tye local music venue, and only a few minutes away there was a good selection of places to eat and drink (until late if wanted), plus a handy local Spar for everyday stuff and good breakfast offerings!

The staff was very friendly, clean room. What we didn't like was the sewer smell thought the room. Almost made you throw up. We asked for another room but nothing was available. Staff came and tried to clean out the drains and turn on the air conditioner. It helped a little, but the smell was in the room. We were not happy.

When arriving there was nobody at the desk, it was about 10 minutes before someone showed, after pressing the bell a few times. Room was ok, bit dark. We asked for extra pillows and they were provided. The bed itself was comfortable. After returning from a day in Maastricht we found the room had not been cleaned, dirty towels not replaced, bed not made and coffee and tea not replenished. We arranged with reception the necessary. Next day we did not want to go out for an evening meal so we thought we would eat in the hotel. After waiting for someone to take an order or hand us the menu I asked at reception if the restaurant was open?? I was told a colleague would be along shortly, we gave it an other 10 minutes or so and decided not to bother and went out into the town for a meal. Poor service from all levels of staff during our stay, will not use this hotel again.

Room was rather tired. The sink tap was not in the correct position and the sink plug was sticking and not properly maintained. The glass screen on the shower was sharp and needed a soft edge to mark the position as users could walk into it as it was difficult to see.

The staff at this hotel are super nice and welcoming! The rooms were clean and it was just perfect for one night stay. Its also in a great location where everything is walkable and there are buses running all the time. Great place! Would highly recommend for short stays. Room was exactly as pictured as well

The room had a seriously broken shower. The drain is so slow that when the shower is used at normal water pressure, the water backs up and floods the entire bathroom. This is a basic plumbing failure that makes normal use of the bathroom impossible. To make matters worse, the hotel scheduled a repair appointment for 1:00 PM. I adjusted my day to be available. No one showed up. There was no communication, no explanation, and no follow-up. Promising a repair and then simply not appearing is unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for guests’ time. This poor maintenance was matched by an equally poor arrival experience. My so-called “welcome gift” was being asked to pay an unnecessary €150 “showing up” fee upon arrival — a charge that was later admitted to be incorrect. Even though it was eventually withdrawn, being confronted with an unjustified fee at check-in is an unacceptable way to start a stay. Overall, this hotel demonstrates weak maintenance standards, unreliable follow-through, and a troubling approach to guest service. Between broken facilities, missed repair appointments, and inappropriate charges at arrival, the experience was consistently disappointing.

First, we entered the hotel and it smelled of sewage. When I got to the room, there was a lot of dust on the floor (see photo). The bed wasn't properly made, and there was feces stuck to the windowpane behind it. There were black hairs on the bed and a moldy sandwich in the minibar. I tidied up a few things to keep my husband from getting angry. He had to park the car somewhere inaccessible due to roadworks, and this was already frustrating. When he got home, he went to take a shower, and the water wouldn't drain, and the entire shower was about 4 cm deep under water. See video. My husband then went to the reception to file a complaint, but he was told to contact you himself for a refund. You can imagine that our stay was no longer pleasant, even after being offered another room. We've had a hectic week and were looking for relaxation, and I hope you understand that we are very disappointed with the hotel's service and communication. This is unacceptable.
