"First the positives... the bed was comfortable to my liking, although this differs from person to person. Pillows and comforter were very nice. Location was convenient for me, staff at the front desk were friendly as well.
Not so positives.... The carpet in the room was well used. Although I'm sure it was vacuumed, it was well past its best before date. I didn't feel comfortable walking on it with socks or are feet. I put towels on the floor to walk on after I showered. The remote was sticky.... kind of gross. I won't go any further there
The breakfast was ok if you like carbs and sugar. No hot eggs so I tried the hard boiled eggs. Calling them 'hard boiled' is an understatement. I good hard boiled egg should be cooked for about 8 minutes. I think these were in for at least 40 minutes. When I tried to eat it, it was like eating sawdust. It was the only egg option so I powered through. The coffee at the breakfast that comes out of the old machine was probably the worst coffee I've ever had, so if you like a good coffee in the morning, you won't find it here. I decided to go back to my room to make a coffee in the machine there and much to my surprise, it was actually worse than the breakfast coffee (which was relegated to second worst coffee I've had). It tasted like cardboard. No lie! I'm guessing it had been sitting there for months or even years.
