"Dinner and breakfast were great, pool great. Room was very nice. We planned to have our daughter sleep on the pullout couch bed and unfortunately there was what appeared to be blood on half a dozen spots. Otherwise great!"

"I was a bit concerned at first because the room wasn’t well swept and there was dust/debris around the floor edges. I did a bedbug check before unpacking…But I have to say the bed was SO comfortable!! Overall it was an ok stay - definitely some sketchy people in the lobby when I arrived but not necessarily the hotels fault "

"Property is clean which is why I provided 3 stars overall. Mattress/bed was well past its lifespan. Property in general needs some maintenance to fix little things here and there. Staff were polite but not overly friendly by any stretch. Would stay here again if they replaced the mattresses. Instant coffee only, this nearly pushed me to 2 star review… iced lemon water in the lobby redeemed them."

"Genuinely the cleanest, "fanciest" hotel I've ever stayed at. Our room was pristine. Javon made our check-in simple and easy. The only issue I had was that we couldn't adjust the temperature of the AC in our room (I like it ice cold lol), but it was still a comfortable temperature. Will DEFINITELY be staying here again if I come to the city again."

"Beautiful and clean hotel. The staff was helpful and wonderful. Breakfast was excellent. Had to pay $15 per day to park in the garage under the hotel. There were limited spots, so friends in our group had to park in a garage 3 blocks away in the “overflow” parking. Also we did not realize that this hotel is literally in downtown Iowa City right next to the campus, bars, etc. There were some loud young people staying in our hotel. If you are looking for that scene it is the perfect location. "

"I had this room reserved and when I arrived to check in at the front desk the already fed-up employee said nope we are full! Eventually I got him to look at my phone and see that we did in fact have a confirmed reservation under my name at this very location. After some digging on the computer, he told us they must have overbooked and thus cancelled our room, but we "should get a refund". We had driven across the country at this point and now had nowhere to stay. The staff made it very obvious...

"Comfortable bed, it was nice having a room walk out to the pool. The food was good! They need to explain at checking how order food works, need to explain the tools of pool and hot tub at check in. We wanted to sit in the hot tub with out kids for 10 min before getting out and going to bed and a worker stopped us said no kids. We had been there all day from 3 pm and seen kids going back and forth all day nothing said then we go to use it and told no... my daughter started balling and not the way...
