"What a unique property. Staying on an airport runway in a converted hangar with real planes was a highlight. We are so glad that we chose Pukaki Air Lodge. Mary is a wonderful host and made our stay so enjoyable. We loved our tour of the hangar and seeing the planes. Our room was spacious and so well appointed. "An almost-new, well appointed motel/apartment a short walk from Twizel town centre. The property had every inclusion we could have wished for, including a dishwasher, microwave and a washing machine/dryer. The elevator up to the first floor units was a welcome surprise. Overall, we couldn't fault the Alps Motel Apartment, and would definitely stay there again. Twizel, too, was excellent."

"This place exceeded my expectations! I initially thought it would be more like a lodge or motel, but it turned out to be beautifully luxurious and incredibly cozy. The bed is very comfortable, and the room is spacious and well-appointed. The staff are generally friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The only slight downside is that the view isn’t particularly impressive, but everything else more than makes up for it. Highly recommended! 🌟"
