  • Each year in Macon, GA a festival bringing people in from surrounding area pops up for a week in early spring. The cherry blossom festival is a festival that most people have heard of, for I'm sure you have one near you. The one in Macon lasts a week an has carnival rides, strong man competitions, dog trick shows, mattress races, and many many more fun things to do all week. On the first Saturday of the festival a unique event happens that brings tens of thousands to just sit and watch. The balloon glow. Hot air balloons come in from all around and set up in the fields outside Macon state college. During the afternoon and into the evening you are able to pay $10 and go up for a short ride that will briefly give you the experience of a hot air balloon ride. But at night, that is when things light up. With a live band on stage these balloons light up the night sky as they rise and fall through the air. With over 20 balloons it is beautiful when they all go off at the same time. People cheer, horns blow, bands play, and everyone has a great time as these balloons shows each year.

We were just passing through and stopped for the night. One of the best Ramada's we have stayed at. It was clean. The front desk was super nice. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. Would stay here again!

Great experience

We stopped on our way to Florida because of bad weather. The motel was very reasonable clean and convenient to get to; right off the interstate. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and the bed was really comfortable.

Great Relaxing Stay

Nice, Clean and Comfortable. Relaxing and Quiet and next to the pool. The hair dryer was labeled broken but we did not need it. The did text me and ask if I needed anything.

Good but noisy

Stayed in two different rooms here. Upstairs was in bad condition. Downstairs in good condition. Staff was nice and beds were clean. Really noisy though but at least its next to a waffle house.

Very convenient off the interstate. Very clean. I will say unfortunately we stayed while the gym and pool were being renovated. After a 12 hour drive I was looking forward to a treadmill or swim but the staff were very nice and the massage shower were a great compromise. I will definitely book this establishment again.

The area was convenient for out needs. The Waffle House is right next door, and their service and staff were great! The room was clean. They just need to finish renovating the bathroom/toilet area. Hotel staff was nice too! It's been a bugy season everywhere, but it wouldn't hurt to call pest control.

A bed for the night. Cable only with WiFi. Room was very dated as were the bedsheets. The bathroom was tiny and not the best. Based upon condition, it should be cheaper.

The place is in dreadful shape. Room served our needs ie sleep but that’s all Fortunately no bed bugs but filthy otherwise. Breakfast was a joke. No waffles, no eggs, juice machine broken , had 2 (total) pathetic looking danish rolls. They had coffee but that’s it .
