"It’s not a hotel, it’s student housing. The staff was very friendly, but gives dorm room vibes. Wasn’t a terrible stay, but would choose differently if we came to cork again. No parking so plan on spending around 40 euro a day on the nearest car park."

"This is a small flat on the top floor of a terrace house. Yes you can see the river just past the plumbers merchant yard and the industrial estate on the opposite bank. Access is via a very noisy shared stair case. First impressions on entering is a place which needs some upgrading and lacks furnishing - COSY it is not. "I loved it felt like a resort and everyone was very helpful. Beautiful lake view from room and at breakfast and nice short walk to see castle ruins. Breakfast was great but I loved dinner more. We ate at the bar (the dining room was booked) and it was incredible. The desserts were out of this world yummy! The waiter ask us our next day plan and even recommended some stops. Wish we had stayed more nights. Best hotel in our Ireland trip hands down."
