"The property is absolutely beautiful and the location is terrific. I really wanted to give this place a 5/5. But for some reason my room didn’t have heat (it was cold when I arrived!), the heater/AC unit wasn’t working and instead of relocating me (which maybe they couldn’t do?) I was given a space heater (and an apology from the front desk staff who explained that the heater was previously out of order). But for the price to stay at this place I don’t think that’s acceptable— even at a 3 star you’d be moved to another room. One other very minor thing— no room service at the property."

"The property was beautiful, clean and staff were quite helpful and friendly. The breakfast was wonderful! Delicious smoked salmon, fresh fruit, yogurt and lots of great choices of baked goods. The chocolate croissant - delish! Close proximity to town, lovely garden setting with a nice veranda, and seating areas outside. TONS of great restaurants in walking distance from casual to more upscale. Brant point lighthouse nearby, tons of lovely shops at the wharf. Loved the hotel, loved Nantucket and will definitely be back!!!! ❤️❤️❤️ Would not recommend the Chapman house upper floors for elderly as the steps are narrow, steep and hard to navigate, but what a beautiful historic building!!"

"The whole property was well maintained. Continental breakfast was good but would have been nice if food options changed more frequently. We had the same meal for 4 days in a row. Rooms were a little tight but I great shape. Towels and linens were excellent quality. The location of the hotel was fantastic. Sure walk to all places. Staff pleasant and very helpful with ideas on things to do. Great stay overall."

"Was upstairs attic type bedroom But small and very clean. Excellent shower. Issue was when we went out the first night for a wedding and returned the dirt to the building was locked. Had received no indication how to open it. When I called they answered right away and was fine. Didn’t see anyone at reception the 3 days 2 nights i was there"

"I do not recommend this place we arrived and they said that the breakfast did not start till June 15 so it was just a continental breakfast. Our room was dirty bugs in the bathroom got woken up on our last day when they said we could check out at 12 housekeeping banging on the door would not stay here again do not recommend overpriced for what you get."
