"English Inn is located in a previously busy area, but in 2026 , it is somewhat tucked away. We love that! Very clean! Excellent breakfast offerings. If there was anything negative I could say, it would be to say that the mattresses are somewhat hard, but not enough to make them uncomfortable to sleep."

"Beautiful property in a great location! The staff was very friendly and helpful, which definitely made us feel welcomed. There were a few food options, and although we didn’t get to try them all, we would certainly come back to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. We will be back! "

"Never been there before, and they offered a tour of the place. Sounded nice until it turned out to be a time share scheme in which my son and I were berated for refusing to take out a 14k loan. They told me I was letting my family down because I would make an impulsive decision. Ruined the whole time, I will never be spending another dime."

"We had to go back to the front desk because the first two rooms had issues. All three rooms were not clean. Stains, debris and crumbs on the floor, damage, etc. I told the front desk guy when I saw the crumbs on the floor it wasn't a big deal but by the time the ick on the bed sheets (hopefully a part of a raisin?!?) and the broken TV stand there were too many little things to be OK. The second room had bugs. We killed a dozen, wiped down the place and when we got back from dinner there were plenty more to kill and thought we can't sleep like this. It is a great location and the staff was good, apologized, and gave us our third room that was good enough. Unless they change their cleaning and maintenance not sure it is worth the money."
