"Absolutely recommend this hotel for a Lisbon break. The rooms are gorgeous, we had no problem with noise and the facilities are great. Rooms are compact, but absolutely enough room for us. The decor was gorgeous, you get new towels every day and we appreciated the extra clean you get if you're staying for a longer time. To have the pool is an added bonus. It is a popular, large hotel so it can be busy but that didn't affect us, and if we wanted a pool lounger we made sure to get out there early. We ate at Santa Marta restaurant on site twice, the pizzas are amazing, the chocolate mousse the best we've ever eaten. All of the staff were super friendly and we had pastries and coffees daily from the coffee shop in reception, who had a brilliant selection including sandwiches. Also, the building the hotel is in is fascinating. Location wise, the hotel is really central, near to plenty of supermarkets and very easy for public transport or taxis (which are cheap in Lisbon). To get to the waterfront it's about a 30 minute walk through some of the most famous areas of the city and any further we got a quick Uber or Bolt which worked well every time."

Their breakfast buffet is super and I ordered room service which was very delicious - better than expected. There was a little confusion by the staff which resulted in me being locked out of my room twice - but they resolved it."

"Great traveller’s hotel… if you’re one small person with a carryon. The standard room looked great (nicely decorated, rainhead) but was entirely impractical: no place for an open suitcase, let alone two, and no room in the bathroom for much more than a toothbrush. A trip from bed to bath was a literal obstacle course. If you’re two, maybe consider a room upgrade. The buffet breakfast was reasonably priced but just okay quality. Surely you can offer better coffee than out of a machine!"
