(She Even went out with you to show me some places, explore my gym options, set up my telephone line, where to go for currency exchange etc). Very chatty (but only in portuguese, so great for those who want to practice), but also very respectful of privacy. Amenities are very basic, but rooms and bathroom are clean, breakfast...

"We did not have a good experience at this guesthouse. We had to wait an hour outside for a staff person to show up. You could smell mold in the room that started to make us sick. The room could have used a better cleaning. We asked a few times for more toilet paper and never got any. The television did not work due faulty wiring.
