"The location is excellent and the staff polite and welcoming but we found cleanliness needs to be improved. The rugs were not properly vacuumed, there is dust on the corners, dust on furniture, soap scum in the shower floor, light switches had handprints, top of bedboard had black dust as well as the picture frames. I had to wipe all surfaces with Lysol wipes. The shower handle was coming off, there was hot water but very little pressure. The complimentary breakfast was ok, but they start...

"It was the best breakfast that I have had in hotel, ever. The food was excellent and very diverse. The reception staff was friendly and very kind. The location was perfect to visit the city."

"It's an older hotel that has been renovated, so there isn't much in the way of insulating barriers. I happened to have a very noisy upstairs neighbor, but the hotel room itself was very nice."

"Staff was great! Room was clean, but lots of stains on chairs and floor. One of the reasons we chose the facility, was because of the convenience of the on-site bar/restaurant. Something was wrong in the kitchen, so no food was available. Bartender and cook were very apologetic and gave us veggies and pretzels… Odd that there were lots of feral cats hanging out by the river walk door…"

"Fire alarm chirping all night our first night. They did change the batteries the next morning. Caretaker of the house is so very sweet. "

"The staff were extremely helpful! However, the room was dreadful. The USB ports for charging our phones didnt't work, the toilet seat had all the paint peeling off & needs replacement. And the toilet was leaking water all over the bathroom floor. The owner needs to sort it out asap!! Overpriced too!!!"

"I never got to check in. Expedia booked me after hours and still has yet to give me a refund. After a long day at work I was looking for a place to sleep to avoid the adverse weather and ended up losing the lil money I had and borrowing from someone to book a different room at a different place. It was frustrating to say the least. Almost a month later and I'm still waiting on my money. SMH "
