The setting of the cabins among the trees was so unique and lovely. A quick walk down to main street shopping and restaurants. Super comfortable and cozy stay.

A beautiful, unique gem for the same price as a cookie cutter room in a chain hotel. Really nice place, wish we could stay longer.

The cabin was adorable, and the property was so clean. It was walking distance to everything in Mahone bay. Would definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful property. Very walkable to nearby restaurants, and has easy access to the surrounding area. The cabin was lovely.

I have stayed at the Blackforest cabins four times now and every time we have a very clean positive experience. There has been great communication and easy instructions for checking in and checking out. I wish they had deals for reoccurring customers because it is pretty expensive to stay even for one night.

We enjoyed staying at the Black Forest Cabins. It was close to everything, and walkable to the waterfront. We stayed 2 nights, so we could also visit Lunenburg, and drive right back. Great restaurants close by, and we also took advantage of the walking trails nearby. Beautiful location in the forest with deer nearby. Thank you!

A very lovely weekend getaway from my partner and I. Great location to go between Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Bridgewater. Communication was very good. Really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful spa like cabins. Perfect location, adjacent to hiking/bike trials and walking distance into town. Wish I had booked extra nights, this place is idyllic.

Amazing stay! Super close to all the shops and restaurants and a nice drive to Lunenberg, Ovens and Halifax! The sauna was lovely too. Highly recommend!

The cabin was absolutely perfect! Modern, clean, well appointed. Location was great and easy to find and park. Would’ve been nice if the bathroom sink area had more space and storage as it didn’t leave much room for toiletries otherwise no complaints.

The cabin was a refreshing, peaceful, and beautiful place to land after a day of exploring Nova Scotia. They are conveniently located in a lightly wooded area that is still within walking distance to restaurants, coffee, and shopping in Malone Bay. We loved it.

Very nice accommodation. Private , clean , unique and roomy. Yet close to the centre of town. Our best stay yet while visiting the Maritimes. I now post only on the nice stays and this is one of them.

Spacious, quiet cabin getaway minutes from Mahone Bay and close to Lunenburg! We enjoyed our stay at the Black Forest Cabins—we had everything we needed and thoroughly enjoyed the spa-like bathroom in our cabin. Wish we would have had time to check out the sauna, but we were only there for one night at the end of our Nova Scotia trip. Would definitely stay again!
