The hotel is closing to guests in order to take in refugees so not such a smooth operation. Not the fault of staff who were all friendly and helpful. Full marks to Kamman who kept bar open after his shift ended for late revellers. We were attending a wedding nearby so didn’t require full facilities. Breakfast ok but very busy.

HI WHEN YOU ARIVE IT LOOKS AWFUL.. WE THOUGHT WHAT HAVE WE DONE . SOMEONE WAS CLEANING THE PATHS WITH JET WASH OUTSIDE IT LOOKED A MESS WE COULDNT GET IN THE ENTRANCE. ONCE IN ROUND THE CORNER REALLY LOVELY AND MODERN INSIDE. LOVELY STAFF VERY COMFORTABLE BEDS AND PILLOWS WOULD DEF STAY AGAIN.

It was OK. But my 90-old mother was locked out of her “accessible” room twice by the dumb (“smart”) key system. And we had to waste a huge amount of water waiting for hot water to arrive in the shower. Restaurant food exceeded our low expectations.

Have stayed many times. Accommodation is fine, very clean. The bed was a bit tired, quite hard not as comfortable as we would like, but maybe that just a personal observation. We ate in once, sadly we would not eat in again as the food was expensive and below average. The breakfast was also not as good as it should be. It would be nice to get choice of vegetarian sausage at least. Overall we would choose to stay again because we are familiar with the hotel, its clean and the service is excellent. However, always room for improvement

Lovely hotel

Really clean and although the exterior looks dated, it was very light and modern inside. Bed was really comfy. Breakfast was good, lots of choice and not very busy. Staff were refilling the food all the time.

Great weekend

What a fabulous weekend stay. Everything we needed was there. Comfy bed, nice bathrooom, large tv, tea/coffee, fresh towels. Can't moan at anything in the room. Staff were friendly from the check in to check out. Breakfast was super and always well stocked. Evening meal was not as good, slightly higher prices than a pub etc. fish was wet and a little Tasteless and the lasagne was very pleasant but small portion with a tiny portion of rocket and two basic pieces of garlic bread. But hey... it was ok. We made use of the spa & pool on two occasions which is why we booked this hotel. All in all... would certainly come again and thoroughly recommend it!

Only thing they got right we us asking for interconnected rooms. Well done. Paid in advance for breakfast wasn’t booked so had to argue in the morning even when showed the confirmation till had to wait 15 minutes before they reluctantly and I really mean reluctantly they let us in. Only got time on arrival that the kids club closed why not informed in advance only they know. Spoken to duty manager the next morning after 2 night stay and was just dismissed and told is there anything else I can do before I check you out.
