"Cheap and cheerful no frills budget hotel with very friendly and kind staff. Nice and spacious room, pretty comfortable bed. Shower head stuck to the wall, which is impractical, otherwise a decent bathroom. Good parking, even if it's paid, and decent food options next door. "

"Two night stay for my partner and I as we were attending a couple of events at The Roadmender. Only a 5 mins walk straight down the road to the venue! Hotel on the outskirts of the town centre, shops, restaurants, bars, takeaways- spoilt for choice all within a few minutes walk. Nice clean room, comfy bed, hot powerful shower, food and drinks available 24/7 and friendly, helpful staff- always ready to greet you with a smile. What more could you want! We would definitely stay again."

"Excellent stay! We stayed here for a race weekend where my team was competing. I booked here because of the ease of being on site but also as a place where my other half could be comfortable in whilst I was working. The rooms are extremely clean with comfortable beds and a great layout, a nice place to be. The restaurant is great, food very nice and a good view of the track and pit lane to watch from. The only downside being slow service of food and orders being forgotten. A no brainer if you’re...

"Lovely pub and restaurant. Room lovely and clean but didn't need a disabled bathroom and extra lighting that was bright in room at night. Large family group staying next to us, who had early morning meeting in hallway and no soft closing doors so quite noisy. Staff excellent. "

"Was over for a wedding at nearby Dodford. Well located and more budget friendly. Despite this, amenities are great. Good pool and gym in separate building, nice lounge. Drinks on the expensive side, but food fair for the standard. Main reason for very favourable review was the staff, who were accommodating, friendly and wanting to please. Would return if in the area"
