"I chose this hotel because of the price, ratings and location. My son was having surgery and we had to be there at 630 in the morning. This hotel was only 15 minutes from the clinic which was perfect considering we live two hours away. The ratings where great, unfortunately utterly wrong. We arrived around midnight and people were hanging around outside, strong smell of weed in the air. The place seemed fairly clean but run down as if much needed repairs/maintenance was being neglected. Missing...

"It was super clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bed and sheets were very comfy, and the room overall felt like luxury. The location was great for walk-ability in downtown Jackson. My only whines were that the coffee maker in my room didn't work (I just went downstairs), and the soap hadn't been replenished/replaced in my room. I'm sure had I said something, the friendly staff would've made it right. Other first-world whines were what the downstairs bar was incredibly...
