"From the moment we were met at the airport, the greeting we received when arriving on the island from the guest relations team, the superb massage we had at the excellent spa to the lovely food in all the restaurants (Mama) and the service at all the bars, the picture perfect setting and our housekeeper Ashik who looked after our overwater villa and kept the mini bar well stocked. "Good: Comfortable bed, helpful and kind staff, all advertised amenities and more (a plug converter), good signage, close to shops.
Not that good: The sprayers of the soap and shampoo bottles were too tight, not suitable for those liquids. The room smells humid when no air-conditioning, location is far from jetties, but as Male is a small island, it's not that big of a deal."

"I stayed for a week during a conference. The hotel staff is exceptionally hospitable. I got the feeling that they genuinely care. They helped arrange a diving trip and book taxies. Airport pickup, laundry service, and breakfast were all satisfactory. The room was basic but clean and functional. The location is great too: close to the fish market and there were plenty of stores around. I highly recommend this place. "
