We had a very nice week at Blue Bay, the staff were lovely and helpful, rooms clean, bed and pillows were comfortable, food was very nice, the only negative comments I would have are that there was no milk alternatives, the all inclusive drinks weren’t great and no fruit juice in the mornings! Other than that it was great.

We had the best service in the hotel! As I took the first step in the hotel the staff recognized me immediately from a previous holiday I had in the hotel. They offered us multiple options for a free room upgrade, they gave me a golden bracelet as a returning guest and they carried our luggage. I stayed in many hotels but never received a service like this. A big thank you to the staff for their hospitality!

The shower will more than likely semi-flood the bathroom because that is how Greek bathrooms are designed & that is why there is a second drain - just don’t keep anything on the floor near the shower/ toilet. It can be a bit noisy until the evening activity ends depending on where your room is. The spa staff & services are great & amazingly reasonably priced. Get the all inclusive deals if you are staying multiple days - totally worth it!

Hotel for relax near Heraklion

10min walk to a beach where there are some restaurants and supermarkets. 10min drive to a PADI diving center. You can also relax by the pool. The full board price is 25 euro per day which is quite reasonable. You can also enjoy the sunset in the bar!

Staying at this hotel is amazing. The location of the cliffs of Agia Pelagia is probably one of the best sights on the island. Also the staff os very helpful and friendly and gives you a 5 star treatment. Only downside are the rooms. If you book a cheap room in the side building, please make sure you bring earplugs. The walls are very thin, and you can hear other people in the rooms and around the building very well!

A lovely break!

Such a lovely break. Stayed here for 6 nights with my husband and 2 children. Can honestly say it was great. Staff friendly and helpful-learned our names, lovely to our children. The food was great- lots of options and well thought out. Little pebble beach a few minutes walk. I would say if you have any mobility issues be cautious as the hotel is set on a hill, lots of steps. Would definitely recommend!

This hotel is value for money. Positives: Amazing views, great locations, the beach really isn't that far away and the bar and the restaurant are very good and the staff amazing. Balanced by: The hotel really needs to read its reviews. It's all inclusive offer is essentially beer, wine, soft drinks (all reasonable) but then only ozo or raki options. Just seems really unnecessary. The food is ok. As with all hotels its a shame there is more shaded area by the pool so there is the inevitable lobbying for beds. (on a plus point for blue bay the option of 3 (well 2 with a bar) pools does mean it is likely you will find somewhere that is relatively nice without having to get up at 0800 in the morning.

The staff was amazing, helpful polite . The food in the buffet was great ! We drove around the town and the food was not as good as the buffet in the resort, they had a verity of food. I highly recommend this resort. The surrounding area is all resorts. The beach area has cute shops with reasonable prices.

We hebben een overnachting in dit hotel geboekt aan het einde van onze 2 weekse vakantie in Griekenland. We vonden de ontvangst niet erg vriendelijk, er werd een iPad onder je neus geduwd in het Grieks waar we zelf moesten inchecken zonder verdere informatie.Toen we vroegen of de taal ook in het Engels gezet kon worden werd dit met een zucht aangepast. Vervolgens werd er snel wat verteld over de voorzieningen die er waren. Al met al was deze ontvangst niet wat we gewend waren tot nu toe van eerdere verblijven in Griekenland. Dit hadden we ook al aangegeven en de volgende dag hebben we dit ook nog eens met de manager besproken die naar ons toe kwam. Hij gaf aan dat dit vanwege COVID is, maar volgens mij staat vriendelijkheid en COVID los van elkaar. Maargoed, waarderen wel dat er nog tijd voor genomen wordt om te bespreken. De kamer zelf was netjes. Internet is erg slecht, het valt steeds weg of slechte verbinding. Dan de eetzaal. Tussen bepaalde tijden kun je ontbijten of dineren en daarnaast nog drankjes halen of ijsje oid als je all inclusive hebt geboekt. In de eetzaal veel marmer(dus erg gehorig)iedereen komt tegelijk ook lijkt het, tafeltjes te weinig en veel kinderen. Rustig eten zit er daarom niet bij. Eten zelf is van goede kwaliteit.Het viel ons ook op door de drukte dat tafeltjes niet gelijk werden afgeruimd dus zit je eerst in de zooi van de ander. Al met al geen aanrader dit hotel, er zijn betere voor deze prijs.
