"The room is very basic and dark. The bed was very uncomfortable and some of the light switches were falling apart. Service was very poor and the spa was dirty and not maintained. "

"All felt very dated. Walls and floors all paper thin, could hear everything from folks waking at 6am, with the addition of construction work right outside the window at 7:30am. Rooms, whilst clean, were basic and tired, and far too warm with no ability to adjust temperature. Pay and display parking (with no guest discount) is a bit odd too.
Not sure what grants this a 4*, but it certainly isn’t. Get what you pay for.

"We had a wonderful stay here with our son, both sets of grandparents, and our dog, and it was perfect for everyone.
From the moment we arrived, the first impression was fantastic. The spa was lovely and a great place to relax, and the food was brilliant throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, although it did take a little while to arrive.
The hotel is very family-friendly, with a lovely kids’ room and outdoor space that our little one really enjoyed. It’s also amazing for dogs, which...
