Absolutely loved my stay at Austria Hof Lodge. Wished I had stayed another night instead of staying in Bishop. The restaurant had delicious food. The bed was super comfortable and it was very peaceful.

I stayed at the Austria Hof for just a single night. Room was clean and comfortable. Kimberly at the front desk was kind and helpful---she put my blue ice in a freezer for a few hours and also provided a few breakfast items to me as I was checking out very early the following morning.

The Austria Hof is a charming place to stay in Mammoth—old world character but with modern amenities. I stayed here for 2 days in the summer. The front desk staff were engaging and kind. Room was super comfortable. I really appreciated the filtered water dispenser next to the front desk—perfect for filling water bladders and bottles before hiking. Also, it is conveniently located right on the Mammoth Trolley stop so no need to drive into town.

Have stayed here before and love it. Large room with a fireplace. Very clean with nice amenities. Very quiet. We really like this place and will stay here again. Hopefully the restaurant will be open next time. The menu looks amazing.

Excellent location, excellent staff. Had a great time. Only complaint is that our shower /bathtub could use some maintenance. Room 101. The water continued to come out of the lower bath spicket partially, which took away from the shower head pressure. Nothing that would prevent me from having an overall great time. Would stay here again. Just an observation. Thanks for having us and will be back.

A little bit of disconnect with the front desk because of my late arrival. I had to get my keys reactivated twice on 2 separate days . This hotel should be not disabled friendly. No elevator. Stairs are steep and short. Very unfriendly for anybody who has any problem navigating stairs. It's so bad, they probably shouldn't even have disabled parking spots. There is no other ADA accommodations. Request room on first floor to minimize stairs. Water initially comes out rusty but clears. Don't use the ramp from the second floor behind the building to go to the parking lot. Unsafe. Beds are tremendously comfortable. Excellent AC/heating unit. Restaurant is awesome. Get the rack of elk. It was amazing. Filet mignon awesome too. Great bat. Jacuzzi has a great view. Could be a little warmer.

The place looked a bit run down: carpets in the hallway dirty; doors scratched; outside stairs with weeks growing through; rooms okay, but a bit old fashioned decor. However, the receptionist was very helpful, professional and friendly.

We love the Austria Hof Lodge! The location is great, so close to Canyon Lodge. We parked our car and didn't drive all weekend. The bar and restaurant have a nice selection. Our dinner was delicious. Our room was really clean and everything we needed for a quick get away. We'll definitely stay here again.
