The property was about a mile from town. It was beautiful inside with a big kitchen and counter tops and a large dining room table. There were 12 of us staying here and we were very comfortable. The kitchen is down one flight of stairs. The living room had beautiful views and it was right off the kitchen. We used the balconies and hot tub located off bedrooms. We also used the BBQ. We had plenty of hot water for showers and a T.V. in every room. Maintenance came right over when we had a question about some lights in the entry (user error). The bedrooms are located down stairs (two and three flights down) so be prepared for lugging suitcases (small price to pay for the accommodations). There were bear sightings around the townhomes-so be careful. But I have seen bears actually in the town of Mammoth lakes and off hiking trails and campsites. It is "wilderness" after all. Hiking trails were across the street. What exquisite scenery as we walked. We had a great time!!
