"I have to start out by saying I stayed at this location when it was the (Renaissance hotel) in 2003 and 2004 it was very nice then and the restaurant was on one of the upper floors and while dining you had a nice view of the Hollywood sign.
With that being said , I was some what disappointed that the loews hotel moved the restaurant to the first floor with no direct view to this iconic view of the Hollywood sign. On our visit we asked to be moved from our first room because the first room was not very nice. We were then placed in a nice room with a city view, that had a nice clean spacious view! The bed was very comfortable and so was the bathroom. The staff was very nice and accommodating, the shower was nice and invigorating. The drinks and food in the restaurant including the breakfast was great! The location is a (A+) to Local attractions,shopping and restaurants. The only thing I would like to see at this hotel is a upgrade in style overall like lighter colors in the rooms earth tones /neutral colors and no displays of worn furniture or puckered carpet in the hallways .
Overall our stay was great and I would return again and again! Grade! (9/10"
