"I got upgraded, which I appreciated. The room had a nice view of seven Avenue and 36th St. All of the staff are really friendly. They charged a daily $40 resort fee. The hotel has an arrangement with the café next-door. You get a $20 credit which can be used at the café Next Door are on the second floor with their caféThe food in the next door café, especially the avocado toast with absolutely amazing. "Problematic property and unexceptional stay.
The rooms are tiny even for New York City and have no suitable chair or seating area - an uncomfortable metal hanging chair or a folding stool that can't actually be positioned at the folding desk as a workstation, so you have to sit on the bed to work. Also no closet (just hangers on pegs) and no drawers for storage (so I basically lived out of my suitcase).
My room had a bad cigarette smoke smell for the first 48 hours, but when a maintenance...
