The Jade is 0nly 10 years old and is in great shape and has a pleasant atmosphere and has a nice friendly staff at your service 24/7. We ended up staying 4 days and will be back one day.

Toilet plugged up, hot water wasn't hot, elevator broke..had to take stairs twice. They ask 2000p...40.00us security deposit to cover the water bottles in the frig.

Cockroach motel
There were cockroaches in the room I was originally given, as well as in the two replacement rooms to which I was moved after complaining about the cockroaches. The staff were very accommodating. Breakfast was poor.

Needs a touch up
I have stayed here many times before in the past and had no problems but this time around there are so many bugs roaches and others can see the room needs to be cleaned better and maybe need to be repainted the shower has no water preasure the staff was great good breakfast all the employees were all good but the hotel needs a touch up,its not an ideal for a family to stay there not like in the past until the hotel gets a touch up and sprayed for bugs i won't stay again.i wish i would have taken photos.

Not a good place to stay
The room is outdated. There were ants in the sink because of some left over foods that were not cleaned or removed. There were hairs all over the floor. The AC was quite noisy but it cooled the room. The buffet breakfast was alright. Will not stay here again.

nice hotel, nice rooms. Second floor unfortunately no nice view but great view from pool area. Sunbathing only until noon, the relax area in shadow only. Very poor breakfast (more a joke) but excellent and recommendable dinner.

Doorman didn't lift a finger to help me get a heavy bag into the hotel. A lot of street noise all night. Advertised a great view of the city....maybe some rooms had that view but mine had a view of the back of a building.

Good value overall despite its shortcomings
Second room didn’t have mice, but there was evidence they had been there. The room was smaller than the first room even though it was the same room type. General cleanliness was a little poor. The showers need a good scrub. The buffet breakfast needs some work. Overall it is still good value for money and in a handy location.

Average at best, but still good value.
Short stay prior to an overseas trip. This is the best value for money place in Manila that has all the necessities for a family, like, pool, included breakfast, on site parking, separate rooms, etc... however... it is in fairly poor condition. We had mice in the first room that kept us awake rustling and trying to get into things during the night, including jumping on my wife’s face during the night. The breakfast isn’t very good. It is a small selection and not well serviced by staff so things are cold or run out and you have to constantly ask for them to refill things and supply things. We had to extend our stay and were moved to a different room. It had issues with the electrical system and the lights kept flickering all night even thought they were turned off. The restaurant was ok, not great. It had enough choice to find something for everyone, but avoid the fish at all cost. It was terrible to the point we spat it out and didn’t eat it. The spaghetti was delicious though and their steaks were reasonably priced. All in all, it still represented value compared to the others, and if we had to stay in Manila again, we would probably stay there again.

The hotel did not return the deposit to my wife. Claimed this was due to an early check in. Nothing was said about this at the time of check-in. I caution people not pay the deposit in cash so that the nefarious staff are tempted to steal it.

Bed is too small for 2 people. If you order room service and there is an event, they won’t accommodate you. Before check in, hotel staff was attentive responding to concerns, after that they ignored me. All in all I am not satisfied with this hotel.
