We had a very comfortable stay at Echo Valley. Really enjoyed the quiet, relative solitude and direct access to trails. Oh, and the hot tub time with a view.

The place is nice, the cabin (#8) was perfect, on hill with our own private driveway, great view! John the caretaker of the property was excellent very easy to get a hold of needed, very informative and super nice!! We will go back. The place is highly recommended.

John (owner) explained all of the amenities without prompting. Cabins are good, hot tub was great, star gazing was excellent.

Studio cabin was too small with zero kitchen items. Expedia misrepresented that the property has a pool and a hot tub when only 1 and 2 bedroom cabins had their own private hot tub - studio cabins did not. Roads leading to cabins are up the mountain and quite dangerous to drive- there’s a lot of room to make them safer. There is no space to do anything around the bench outside the cabin. Space is very dusty and not level at all. Office had free DVDs to borrow which was good. TV and wifi both worked. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

It sounds like a 1 or 2 bedroom cabin with a hot tub and full kitchen would have met your needs. We would be happy to see you back again in one of our larger cabins!

The property was clean and had a very nice pool. The person who oversees it was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was parking at our cabin and how high up the hill they were. The parking was very tight and I had to turn around to get out, which was very tight and was on a fairly steep incline.

Extremely important that you pay attention that many of the cabins DO NOT have bathroom inside it’s a shared bathroom. this is more of a camping atmosphere so if you’re looking for something rural, this is the place for you. Clean cabins and restrooms . we stayed at cabin by the office sweetheart.

Hello Crystal, Our motto is we are Chelan's quiet, private, outdoor cabin experience. The adventure cabins have do not have bathrooms in them, there is a short walk to the bathrooms and the nightly price reflects that. All of our Airstreams and 1 & 2 bedroom cabins have full private bathrooms, full kitchens and the cabins have private hot tubs. Please come see us again and try one of our full sized cabin experiences!

The small cabin doesn’t have a shower and restroom, just general shower and restroom for 5 cabins outside…. Not clean. Everything so old.

Hello Oleksandr,We are sorry your stay did not meet expectations. You stayed in an adventure cabin by the pool. We do explain on our website and via pictures that the adventure cabins do not have kitchens our bathrooms in the cabin, but are located about 100 yards away from the bathhouse. The nightly price of the cabin reflects that feature. The bathroom is completely private and only allows for one person at a time in it. There are pictures of both cabin and the bathroom posted on our website. There are 4, not five cabins, that share that bathroom at the pool. The pull out couch in the cabin is not new, but again, is in the pictures that are posted online. It is clean and fully functional. All of our queen sized mattresses and linens are new. Our cabins are very well maintained and thoroughly cleaned between every guest. If there was a problem with your room during your stay we would have liked to hear about it while you were here so we could have addressed it. In the future it would be helpful to know this in advance of your check out so we could have made it right for you.The adventure cabin may not have been a good fit for you, but our 1 and 2 bedroom cabins have full bathrooms and kitchens and private hot tubs. They are priced accordingly. Please let us know if you would like to come again and we can offer you a discount on your next booking. Thank you for your business!

I’d pass on this one folks. The owners of this property clearly got a buddy with no carpentry experience to make these small rooms they’re calling cabins. This is evident from the exposed insulation in the rooms, holes in the walls exposing electrical, painted boards for flooring, and that not a single piece of trim lining up in the room. There’s no way this place is permitted. Beyond the sheer poor craftsmanship of the room, the roof’s ventilation is not covered, so my roof had birds living in it during my stay. The roads on the property are poorly maintained, partially gravel, partially dirt one-way roads. To get to my cabin you have to drive up the road, flip a U-Turn, and drop down into the steepest dive I’ve ever seen. There’s no parking at your cabin, so you simply try to park on the edge of the one-way road. Finally, the bathroom is approximately 250 feet down a steep gravel road that’s super inconvenient to get to, either by walking down and back up the massive hill, or driving all the way down and back around the property because the roads are all one-way. This is simply a poorly maintained and poorly thought-out property providing little value other than a roof over your head. To that end, for the price, I’d recommend camping.

Hello Kyle, It is unfortunate you did not enjoy your stay with us. I assure you that all of our cabins are fully permitted and we will have our maintenance team out to check your cabin because we are not aware of any holes, wires, or exposed insulation in your cabin. We try to explain to everyone and disclose on our website that the adventure cabins on Cabin Island are a 2-3 minute walk to the full bathrooms with showers. Additionally, for added convenience, there was a port-a-potty only a few steps from your cabin. Theses cabins are very isolated, tucked away, private, with beautiful views and quiet. This makes them desirable for people looking for a nature experience that has a queen bed with linens, a TV/DVD, coffee pot, refrigerator, microwave, electricity, pull out couch, BBQ and picnic table and a resort pool for your use. These are significantly more amenities than you will find simply tent camping-- it is cabin "glamping".The driveway is currently being widened and regraded which is why it was only partially graveled and part dirt. It will be completed in the next couple of weeks. There are pullout parking spaces adjoining each cabin that allow for another vehicle to pass.Cabin Island is the only part of our resort where there are not fully paved driveways. The gravel road you turned off of to enter Cabin Island Drive is the forest service road that continues on up to Echo Ridge that boasts premier hiking, mountain biking and Nordic skiing trails.It doesn’t sound like the adventure cabin was a good match for you but maybe next time you could stay at one of our full sized cabins with a full kitchen, bath and private hot tub. Or an adventure cabin at Base Camp that is a much shorter walk to the pool and bathhouse.

This place was amazing, and John was full of information. very knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning. The only reason I gave not the excellent for amenities is because if we are camping and the picnic table was pretty worn out, and when I put food on their it would roll off and that's pretty much the only thing which is very minor.

Adventure cabin
The owner does an excellent job of showing you the property and how to operate amenities. The location is super for accessing mtb and hiking trails, plus wildlife viewing in the front yard! The driveway to the adventure cabins is adventurous! One should be aware that the bath and toilets are a little bit of a walk to reach, but would totally stay here again.
