The staff was very accommodating in making sure we were happy with our room, even moving us to another room that was non-smoking. the Kitcheonette had a full-sized refrigerator. The beds were very comfortable with blackout curtains. It is a great location, near downtown Manteo and lots of restaurants. An inexpensive place to stay when going to a show at Manteo.

Parking was difficult due to all of the long term tenants. It was also a tad alarming with those tenants drinking/smoking outside the rooms … I would not have felt comfortable if I were alone. There was also a dog in a dog crate outside one of the rooms. Clean and comfortable for the nightly rate. If you are looking for the Hilton, this is not for you. If you need a place to crash for a night, this is perfect

We visited for New Years Eve, so it was not too busy. The room was very clean and the place was pretty quiet. Obviously it was very cold when we were there, but the room stayed very chilly even with the heat on high. It probably did not warm up over 60 all night. If you are staying in Manteo in the Winter.... pick somewhere else.
