"Out of all the places we stayed during our three weeks on the South Island, Ratanui Lodge provided the best service and hospitality. "A really nice backpackers hostel. The rooms were well put together and warm during the winter. Lots of space in the kitchen and lounge and bathrooms are being renovated. Staff were really helpful and hospitable - I'd stay here again, for sure. One of the most comfortable places I have stayed on my trip through NZ."
