Great proximity to the north cascades! It would have been nice to have a full fridge upstairs to share between the rooms… I saw one downstairs… we just had the mini fridge to split with six rooms lol

Small rooms, but large common area to use as well! Just what we needed for the night. We checked in late, so the experience was a little unique without seeing anyone, but the staff left detailed notes on the doors and were very helpful. Very unique stay, but kind of fun and different!

We enjoyed staying here to visit Diablo Lake and Maple Pass Loop. It was a nice, private and clean visit with spacious and comfortable rooms and showers. The shared facility was nice and had plenty of board games. The area itself is cute with easy access to the riverbed if you cross the small bridge in town. There was also a small convenience store and a few restaurants for a bite to eat.

Clean room. It was a Common room for like a living room/sitting room. Rooms were just a bed and a bath. However, it was very clean and quaint and we really liked it. We liked the layout. Cleaning person was there and helped us a bit, but I think most everything else is done remotely so not a lot of “help” from the staff. We didn’t see anyone else. Overall, a very good feel.

We had room 114 which is upstairs with 4 other rooms and we all share 2 bathrooms. Our room was super small with only a full bed and no room to put a suitcase. No staff is on duty so call them if you need help. There were no Kleenex’s anywhere It was great location to the national park.

The location was great. Check in was interesting and the time was strict. We tried to text the number on the door but no responses. They provided bottled water, apples and mini muffins which was very thoughtful. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

North Cascades Inn was a great one-night base in Marblemount before hiking Sahale Arm. I knew going in that the bathrooms were shared, and that wasn’t an issue at all. I’ve stayed in hostels and similar places while traveling, and I never once had trouble finding an open bathroom during my stay. The property is really cute and quaint, with a lot of historic character. My room was on the smaller side, but that was completely fine since I wasn’t there to spend much time indoors. The bed was very comfortable, check-in was incredibly easy with my key waiting in an envelope, and everything felt clean and well cared for. The location was especially convenient. There are restaurants right across the street, a convenience store next door, and it’s right at the start of Cascade River Road, making it an ideal launching point for Cascade Pass and Sahale Arm. It was also very affordable for the area. For a simple, comfortable place to stay before a big day in the North Cascades, it worked perfectly.

Very unassuming jewel of a property. Totally did everything ourselves. Found the key under the mat. Very nice room. Nice location. We even drove back down and parked in front of our room again to re-use the Wi-Fi as there wasn’t anything in the park.

For a home base for North Cascades National Park, this is an excellent choice. The room was large, clean, had a king sized bed, and had an adorable stencil of baby bears in tree tops on the walls. It was very comfortable with a kitchenette and when we had an issue they were very helpful and responsive. Highly recommend!
