"We had high expectations for this hotel, as it carries the Marriott name. The king room suites were very spacious. But the bathroom was unacceptably small. We were also given a room with two queens for one night, but the king is much, much nicer. There is coffee in the rooms, which is acceptable. There is no complimentary breakfast, which is a surprising disappointment. And, an average breakfast was available to purchase, but was too expensive, and not worth it. The bathrooms in the lobby are a mile away from the front desk. And, there were never any luggage carts available. There is a parking garage with very nice pay-to-park parking and a short walk. But they did validate our parking, which we appreciated. However, the other guests at the hotel during our stay were of a very low-class type of person. And, we found that this said a lot about the hotel. All in all, this was an affordable choice for us, as we were just passing through Utica. We ate at Demarco’s Italian Steakhouse, and it was very nice."
