"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Breakfast ok but lacked topping up of bread, cold meats, hot food eg scrambled egg etc basically empty. Having paid hotel cost of parking we then found couldn’t exit the car park without paying another 11 euros. Hotel reception only refunded us with 8 euros should have been 11 ( didn’t realise at the time ) Obviously small amount difference but very irritating!!!!!"

"Clean room and bathroom. Restaurant closed on Friday night as it’s classed as the weekend, you need a car to find somewhere to eat. Bed quite hard, so for me quite uncomfortable. Noisy doors, usually don’t hear the doors in an Ibis, but heard all the doors closing along corridor, made for a disturbed stay. "
