"I liked the ambiance and the architecture. I love listening to the water fountain as the water is flowing. It is very relaxing. The landscaping is very well kept. We love sitting in the room balcony and listening to the birds singing. The staff is helpful and nice to talk to. It’s just one of our favorite places to stay."

"It's a motel meant to just crash for a night. Easy ample parking. Easy check-in and check out. Don't expect too much out of the property. It's the cheapest motel you'll get in the area so you get what you pay for. Just use it to crash for the night and get out. However there are some great breakfast and coffee places right outside."

"Absolutely beautiful hotel! We stayed at room #5 which was a stand alone unit so it was basically like a little apartment. It had a beautiful interior and a fully stocked kitchen as well. The owner Jantzen was super friendly and helpful. The whole property was gorgeous. The next we come to Marfa we will be staying here again for sure!"

"The continental breakfast was depleted by 9 o’clock when it was supposed to continue until 930. Food had to be brought back to the room to eat as there was only one small table in that area, no TV. There is also a spider on the floor of the room that was the size of a tarantula No extra blankets or pillows were available in the room and the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was so old it still has springs in it. The check in was completed by a child. Very overpriced."

"I had been here years ago and loved it. First, my room was listed as the last available. There were only 3 or 4 cabins occupied. It had not been remodeled and I paid $150 for what should be a $50 room. I didn’t see a gift shop. There was one years ago. The kitchen light did not work, the refrigerator was not on and smelled bad. There were burrs stuck in the throw rug and one stuck in my foot. The beds were not bad. Had the room not been listed as the last available, I would have waited til arrival and after seeing the place and avoided a ridiculous charge. Oh, I forgot to mention a window had been taken out and cemented over without painting inside the room. There was a huge American flag mostly covering the patch. Needless to say, I will not be back and do not recommend to anyone."

"The staff was very nice and helped a lot when the hotel.com app was messing up our messages! Once we arrived they were very informative on things in the area and very sweet! The rooms are simple, just a bed TV and bathroom but they were very clean and the bed was very comfortable! The downside is the parking, and the sound. They have very limited parking, you either have to park around the corner or hope you can get a street side parking. The main entrance door is a little hard to find and once you do it seems scary at first to walk up their stairs but its very open up top and the rooms were nice and clean. Lighting could be better but its mostly just a simple hotel room, somewhere to stop for the night so it wasnt too bad. As for the sound, we got there late so there was minimal sound from the restaurant below as they were closing when we got up to our room, but id imagine during the day you can hear quite a bit cause we could hear our neighbors across the hall loud and clear when they came to their room."
