One example: A security guard I ran into around 11:00p helped me solve my toothpaste issue (as in, I forgot mine at home) by bringing three small traveling packs of toothpaste, at no charge. We didn't have a chance to try the pool, and the hotel did not offer a courtesy continental breakfast (though they do have a full breakfast buffet available for $27/person).
