After being outside watching 2 college baseball games in the cold, we just wanted to go to the hotel and go to sleep. "I found cockroaches in my bathroom. They even got into the shower when my son was showering. I took pictures and a video. I very kindly and quietly approached the front desk and spoke with a very nice young lady who promised me a call from the manager immediately. I never received a call. I then emailed the hotel with details and requesting at the very least a response, and I still received nothing. Not a single word. I have worked in the hotel industry. I would have refunded my stay immediately...

"Old hotel, worn out carpeting, broken items in room, rusty shower doors, cracked counters, luke warm water for showering, broken vending machines, etc. While less expensive than nearby hotels, felt like I spent too much money to stay in a hotel that felt “icky” and a little unsafe. "

The staff proposed their last available room but it was in a very bad state (wallpaper peeling, strong smell of cigarette smoke) so we decided to stay in the other room and sorted out the problem. The room was very clean and the inn is conveniently situated next to a few fast food accomodations."
