"This is a very old property. The current owners are trying to update everything. I wish I could give it a higher rating because they're trying so hard. The rooms are very dated but the beds were comfortable. They are updating the rooms one at a time The location is great, less than half a mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Hopefully they can revive this motel.
There's a great restaurant down the road in Linville Falls called The Famous Rockhouse. I highly recommend them for breakfast."
